Kimm Mahoney-Watson, Director – Chairperson
Kimm Mahoney-Watson had her choreographic debut at the age of 8 and has been making dances ever since. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Dance from the University of Oregon. Kimm was one of the founders and served as President for Discovery Path Community School, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Kimm has also served on the Board of Directors of The Oregon Dance Association for 5 years, where she held the positions of Vice-President, President and Past-President; The Oregon Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and PortlanDances. For the past twelve years, Kimm has taught Dance at Portland Community College, as well as Pilates and Tai Chi. She is currently Studio Director of Body Center Pilates located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Kimm started Kinetic Images Dance Company as a sole proprietorship in March of 2000. She will continue to be Artistic Director and Choreographer for Kinetic Images Dance Company, Inc.
Lee Boutell, Director
Lee Boutell lives in Eugene, Oregon and has served on the steering
committee for the Eugene Celebration festival. He coordinated security at
the Oregon Country Fair and is a volunteer wildlife monitor for the Nature
Conservancy. Originally from Kansas, he studied at Kansas State University and earned his Bachelor of Science from Linfield College. Lee wrote comedy for the award-winning program Zap News and served as co-producer for three years. Since 2000 Lee has been an active supporter of Kinetic Images, providing logistical and technical support to the company.
Margaret Boutell, Director
Margaret Boutell, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio resides in Eugene, Oregon. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox University and graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from Portland State University. Margaret was the original producer of Zap News, an award-winning comedy TV program in Eugene. Since March 2000 Margaret has contributed to the technical and business efforts of Kinetic Images. She is focusing her knowledge and experience on marketing and public relations for Kinetic Images.
Stacey Giachino, Director
Stacey Giachino has been working in business development, operations and funding for over twenty years in a variety of industries. After spending ten years as a feature-length film and music video producer in Los Angeles, California, Stacey moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1991. Since that time, Stacey has worked in the high tech and telecommunications businesses in positions ranging from Sales Executive to Senior Vice President of Business Development. Most recently, Stacey has turned her attention to the nonprofit sector, contributing her business expertise to several nonprofit organizations. In addition to her recent efforts in a business capacity, Stacey has also worked as part of the crew during live Kinetic Images performances for the past few years. Stacey earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Kathryn Mahoney, Director
Kathryn M. Mahoney holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University and a master's degree in administration from the University of California. She has worked in non-profit administration for community service organizations in Sacramento, California and after receiving her master's degree, in contract negotiation and financial management, for several companies. For the past 10 years, she has served as the business manager of the Higher Education Research Institute, a research unit within UCLA's Graduate School of Education and Information Studies. Kathryn is an enthusiastic supporter of the arts in the Los Angeles area and has a long time interest in dance.
Will Mahoney-Watson, Director
Will Mahoney-Watson is originally from Chicago, Illinois and moved to the West Coast in 1973. It was at that time that his interest in the visual arts was sparked. Will attended the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in TV and Film. He has served on the Board of Directors of Discovery Path Community School, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Will co-produced the original cable production Zap News that won several regional and local awards in Eugene, Oregon. Will has been videographer for the Company since 1999. He is committed to continuing to develop and explore the relationships between video, dance, music and photography.
